Everything mentioned by others about the quality of the screen is accurate. This monitor is visually fantastic.
BUT if you do any one of the following...
1) turn the Brightness down past 92%
2) put monitor in Eco-Mode
3) enable Dynamic Contrast
then you will hear a static buzzing sound, kind of like having tinnitus - that constant ringing in your ear.
This is not a problem if you keep the monitor on full brightness (92-100%), but my bet is you don't currently have your display on 100% brightness. Turn it up to 100% and then imagine it as 27". And then imagine it's late at night or early in the morning, or you've been working on the computer for a few hours. Eye strain. But you can always turn the brightness down and then hear the ringing in your ears. It's an unfortunate combo. Unfortunate enough to knock it down 2 stars from the 5-star visuals.
I believe this explains the affordability of this monitor.
I ordered this for my husband who is legally blind, the size ; clarity make this the perfect gift. It was easy to set up ; adjust, so we are extremely happy with this unit.
